Most questions fall into four groups: setting up an event, getting guests to participate, how galleries and access periods work, and privacy. If none of these covers it, sign in at home.rsvpix.com and raise a support request.
For hosts
How do I set up an event?
Sign in at home.rsvpix.com and create the event. The RSVP page, the guest photo uploads, your review queue and each guest’s gallery all belong to one event.
How do guests get to my event?
Download a printable QR flyer for your event, themed to match it. Put it where people will actually see it — on tables rather than by the door, in our experience, because the door is where people are carrying things.
Can I stop something appearing?
Yes. You review what guests upload and decide what appears before anyone else sees it.
Can guests add photos without signing in?
Yes, during the event. While the event is on, a guest who scans the printed QR code can add their photos with no sign-in at all — no email, no code, no account. They pick their photos, add their name if they want it shown, and they are done. The no-sign-in window is the host’s to switch on. It opens two hours before the event starts and closes two hours after it ends — 24 hours for an event that runs longer than a day — or at a time the host chooses. Outside the window, adding photos means signing in, as before. Nothing a guest uploads is visible to anyone else until you approve it. Guest uploads arrive in a review queue marked as needing review, and you approve, remove or mark each one as spam — one at a time or in bulk.
How do I get the free event?
Your first event’s photos are free when you hold it within 30 days of creating it: up to 100 photos, up to 30 guests, 1 GB of storage, and galleries that stay open for 30 days after your event. One free pass per person, with help-centre support. You claim the free pass when you create the event, on the Event Plan step, and only when the event’s date is within 30 days. It is one pass per person: a verified email address that has already used one cannot claim another.
How long do my guests get?
Gallery access runs from the day of your event. Free is 30 days after your event, and every paid pass and event credit is 12 months after the event.
Which paid pass do I need?
Paid passes are sized by guest count: Essentials covers up to 75 guests and 500 photos for $49 (A$79), Classic covers up to 200 guests and 2,000 photos for $99 (A$149), Premier covers up to 500 guests and 5,000 photos for $179 (A$269), Festival covers up to 2,000 guests and 15,000 photos for $349 (A$499). Every paid pass hosts each guest’s gallery for 12 months after the event, and none has a deadline to create the event by. For several events, event credits cover one event each on Classic terms and never expire: 3 for $269 (A$399) or 10 for $849 (A$1,279). Prices are set in US dollars and in Australian dollars, not converted: an Australian host is shown and charged the A$ price, everyone else the US$ price, and the pricing page lets anyone switch between the two.
For guests
Do I need to install anything?
No. Guests use a web browser. There is no app to install.
What exactly will I have to do?
To add the photos you took, almost nothing during the event itself: scan the QR code on the flyer, pick your photos, and you are done — no email, no code, no account, when the host has switched guest uploads on. To collect the photos you are in, the full path is heavier: Your guests scan the QR code, enter an email address and accept the terms, collect a four-digit code from their inbox, give a first name, last name and country, allow the camera, wait for the on-screen guide to load, and take one selfie.
What happens to my selfie?
Your selfie stays in this browser until you submit it. It is used to find you in that one event’s photos and nothing else. You can ask for it to be deleted at any time — see the privacy policy.
I do not want to be matched. Can I still see the photos?
Yes. Matching is opt-in. You can view and download whatever the host has shared without submitting a selfie; you just will not get a personal gallery.
Some of my photos are missing
Face matching is not perfect. It can miss a guest, and it can occasionally return someone else’s photo inside the right gallery. Photos appear after they have been uploaded and processed, not while the event is still running. If photos are still missing after processing has finished, tell the host.
When something does not work
- The sign-in code has not arrived — spam folder, the address, a minute's wait, then resend.
- The camera will not start — allow it in the browser, or leave the Instagram/Facebook in-app browser.

Questions people ask
Do guests need an app to get their photos?
No. Guests use a web browser. There is no app to install.
Do I need an account to add my photos to an event?
Not during the event, when the host has turned guest uploads on — scan the printed QR code, pick your photos, and you are done. A personal gallery of the photos you appear in is a separate act, and that one needs an email address, a four-digit code and a selfie.
How long does the free package keep galleries open?
30 days after your event. Gallery access is measured from the day of the event, not the day you created it.
How do I delete my account and my data?
Sign in at home.rsvpix.com and raise a support request asking for account and data deletion.
Is face matching compulsory?
No. It is opt-in. A guest only submits a selfie if they want a personal gallery.
