RSVPix vs a free shared photo album
A free shared album from your phone’s built-in photo service collects photos perfectly well, costs nothing, and most of your guests already have an account. If all you need is a pile of photos in one place, use it — genuinely.
Where the difference actually is
What it cannot do is hand each guest only the photos they are in. Everyone gets everything, so everyone scrolls. It also cannot keep the album from anyone who gets hold of the link.

What RSVPix will not do
- Photos appear after they have been uploaded and processed, not while the event is still running.
- Face matching is not perfect. It can miss a guest, and it can occasionally return someone else’s photo inside the right gallery.
- It cannot make your guests participate. Adding photos needs no sign-in during the event, but a personal gallery is not effort-free: Your guests scan the QR code, enter an email address and accept the terms, collect a four-digit code from their inbox, give a first name, last name and country, allow the camera, wait for the on-screen guide to load, and take one selfie.

Can I use both?
Yes, and plenty of events should. These approaches cover different halves of the same problem, and RSVPix costs nothing to run once alongside whatever you already planned.
What does RSVPix cost?
$0 to run one real event, then a one-off pass from $49 (A$79) sized by guest count. The one-off event passes are a single payment. They do not auto-renew, and each covers one event, with galleries that close 12 months after that event.
