RSVPix for event photographers

RSVPix can carry most of what a delivery gallery does: you upload your event photos as the host, your client’s guests add theirs, and every guest opens a gallery of just the photos they are in. The one thing it cannot do yet is hand you a single download of the entire gallery.

You upload as the host, not as a guest

A photographer uploads as the host, through the host app, so the per-upload cap that applies to guests does not apply to you. Your photos and your client’s guests’ photos land in the same event, and you review what guests upload and decide what appears before anyone else sees it.

Guests add up to 20 photos at a time, which the host can change per event. A guest can come back and upload again.

What it does

Every gallery opens only after signing in, and that sign-in is locked to your event. A guest cannot reach another event’s photos, and neither can anyone outside yours.

The gap, stated first rather than buried

The one thing RSVPix cannot do yet is hand you a single download of the whole gallery. Each guest can download their own set, and you can download individual photos — a one-click export of everything is not built. If your workflow depends on handing a client one archive of the finished set, keep whatever you use for that until we ship it. Everything else below assumes you know that.

Two other things we do not do, so there is no surprise later: proofing and print fulfilment, and studio management or contracts. RSVPix is delivery, not a studio back office.

Why a photographer might care

Per-guest galleries are something a folder cannot do. Instead of sending one link to three thousand photos, every guest opens the ones they are in. That is the part clients notice.
Guest photos come in alongside yours. Your client gets the speeches from the back of the room and the dance floor at midnight, without you being in two places.
Access is scoped per event. Nobody wanders into another client’s gallery. If you have ever had a platform show one client’s name to another, you will know why that matters.
It costs you no shooting time. You set the event up once and upload as you would anywhere else.

What your client’s guests have to do

To add the photos they took, very little: While the event is on, a guest who scans the printed QR code can add their photos with no sign-in at all — no email, no code, no account. They pick their photos, add their name if they want it shown, and they are done. The no-sign-in window is the host’s to switch on. It opens two hours before the event starts and closes two hours after it ends — 24 hours for an event that runs longer than a day — or at a time the host chooses. Outside the window, adding photos means signing in, as before.

Collecting the photos they are in is the heavier half: Your guests scan the QR code, enter an email address and accept the terms, collect a four-digit code from their inbox, give a first name, last name and country, allow the camera, wait for the on-screen guide to load, and take one selfie.

We put this on the page rather than in the small print because it is the thing most likely to disappoint a client on the day, and you should be able to judge it before you recommend us to anyone.

Can RSVPix replace my client delivery gallery?

For a lot of events, most of it. You upload your photos as the host, your client and their guests reach them, and every guest gets a gallery of just the photos they are in. The gap is a single download of the whole gallery, which is not built yet — so if handing over one archive is part of what you sell, keep what you use for that. RSVPix also does not do proofing, print fulfilment or studio management.

Do the guest upload limits apply to me?

No. Guests add up to 20 photos at a time and the host can change that per event. You upload as the host, through the host app, so that cap does not apply to you.

Can I put my own branding on it?

Not today. Custom branding and white-label galleries are not built, so no package carries them and every gallery shows RSVPix branding. Please do not sell it to a client on the strength of a pricing bullet — ask us first.

What happens if the matching gets someone wrong?

Face matching is not perfect. It can miss a guest, and it can occasionally return someone else’s photo inside the right gallery. Tell us and we will remove it.
