1. Who these terms are between

These terms are between you and the operator of RSVPix. They apply when you create an account, create an event, upload photos, RSVP to an event, or ask to be matched to your own photos.

2. Accounts

You need an account to create an event, and guests need one to reach a personal gallery. You are responsible for what happens under your account. Give us accurate details, and keep your sign-in secure.

3. Your event, your content

You keep ownership of the photos and content you upload. You give us the permission we need to store, process and display them for the purpose of running your event — and nothing beyond that. We do not use your event photos to advertise RSVPix unless you have separately and explicitly given us permission in writing.

As a host you are responsible for having the right to collect photos at your event and for telling your guests what is happening. If you are running an event where photography or face matching needs to be announced or consented to, that is your call to make and yours to communicate.

4. What you must not do

• Upload content you do not have the right to upload.
• Upload unlawful, harassing or sexually exploitative content, or content involving the abuse of a child.
• Use RSVPix to identify people for surveillance, security screening, law enforcement or any purpose other than giving a guest their own photos from an event they attended.
• Use RSVPix for events where attendees are children and the legal basis for face matching would be parental consent. We do not support that today.
• Attempt to reach another event’s photos, probe or bypass access controls, or scrape the service.

We can suspend or remove an event that breaches these rules.

5. Face matching

Face matching is opt-in for guests. A guest submits a selfie only if they want their own gallery, and they can ask for that selfie and the face data derived from it to be deleted at any time. Face matching is not perfect — it can miss photos and it can occasionally return the wrong person’s photo inside the right gallery. Please tell us when it does.

6. Packages, payment and expiry

Prices are shown in US dollars on the pricing section. Your card issuer converts at their rate and may add a foreign transaction fee.

• One-off event packages are a single payment. They do not auto-renew, and they do expire on the date shown when you buy.
• Gallery access is measured from the day of your event, not the day you buy.
• Subscriptions renew at the interval you choose until you cancel.
• Event credits cover one event each on the terms stated and do not expire; add-ons add photos and storage to one event.

Nothing on this website can charge you. All purchasing happens inside the application at home.rsvpix.com.

7. Refunds and your consumer rights

If you are a consumer in Australia, our goods and services come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and to compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. Nothing in these terms limits those rights.

Outside that, if something has gone wrong with a package you have bought, raise a support request from your account and tell us what happened. We would rather sort it out than argue about it.

8. Availability

RSVPix is in beta. We do not offer an uptime or response-time commitment, and you should not rely on the service as the only record of an event. Keep your own copies of anything you cannot lose.

9. Liability

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to re-supplying the service or refunding what you paid for the affected event. This clause does not affect the consumer guarantees in section 7.

10. Ending things

You can stop using RSVPix at any time and request deletion of your account and data — see the deletion section of the privacy policy. We can suspend or end an account that breaches these terms.

11. Changes and governing law

We may update these terms; the date below shows when they last changed. These terms are governed by the laws of Queensland, Australia.
