Cookie Notice
This website sets no analytics or advertising cookies unless you agree to them. Without your agreement your browser holds your light or dark theme preference and your answer to the cookie banner — and, if you arrived through one of our own campaign links, a short code identifying that link, which is deleted when you close the tab. That code is never created for a visit that did not come from one of those links.
What is stored without your agreement
| Name | Type | What it is for | How long |
|---|---|---|---|
rsvpix-theme | Local storage | Remembers whether you chose light or dark mode | Until you clear it |
rsvpix-consent | Local storage | Remembers your answer to the cookie banner so we stop asking | Until you clear it |
leadgen.cta.attribution.v1 | Session storage | Records which of our campaign links you followed, so a demo request can be counted against that campaign. Created only if you arrived through one of those links | Until you close the tab |
rsvpix_ref | Cookie | Remembers which event's guest page or email brought you here, so that if you go on to create an account we can count that event as having introduced you. Holds an event identifier only. Created only if you arrived through a "host your own" link | 30 days |
rsvpix.ref.v1 | Local storage | The same event identifier, kept for browsers that refuse the cookie | 30 days |
None of these identifies you. The first two never leave your browser. The campaign code does — sending it is what counting a campaign means — and what it records is which link was followed, not who followed it.
Measuring our own campaign links
When we post about RSVPix, the link in that post carries a code identifying it. If you follow the link, this website records that a visit arrived, which page it landed on, and the campaign labels the link carried. The code is then removed from the address bar, so the page you can copy and share is the plain one.
If you go on to click a button we have named — asking for a demo, or opening the application — that is recorded the same way: a named button, on a page, with nothing about you attached. If you send a demo request and we accept it, we record that one was accepted. The request itself travels separately to our support system and is covered by the Privacy Policy.
These records never contain your name, email address, phone number, anything you typed into a form, the contents of a support ticket, or the full address of the page you were on. No cookie is involved. The records go to the measurement service we use, which is hosted in Australia.
This measurement is not behind the banner, and we would rather say so plainly than let you discover it. It sets no cookies, it is not shared with an advertising network, it cannot follow you to another website, and it stops existing when you close the tab. The banner governs the analytics script described next, which is a different thing.
What is stored only if you agree
If you accept analytics, we record anonymous usage measurement so we can tell which pages are useful and which are not. We do not run advertising or cross-site tracking cookies, and we do not sell anything about you.
If you decline, that analytics script is not loaded at all — it is not merely disabled, it is never fetched. The campaign measurement described above is separate, and your answer does not change it.
Changing your mind
Use the button below to reopen the banner and change your answer at any time.
You can also clear site data for rsvpix.com in your browser settings, which resets everything above.
The application
The RSVPix application at home.rsvpix.com is a separate surface and uses the storage it needs to keep you signed in and to keep your gallery access working. Those are strictly necessary for the service to function.
