Why has my sign-in code not arrived?

Almost always one of four things: the code is in your spam or junk folder, the email address has a typo, the mailbox is slow (allow a minute, then use the resend link), or a work or university mail system is holding it. Check those in that order before asking for help — and use the newest code, because each resend replaces the one before.

Check these first, in order

Spam or junk. The sender is RSVPix <noreply@rsvpix.com>. Search for "RSVPix" if your mail app hides the folder.
The address. Tap the pencil next to the address on the code screen and read it back slowly. A single wrong character sends the code somewhere else, and nothing bounces back to tell you.
Time. Most codes arrive in seconds; some mailboxes take up to a minute. When the countdown ends, tap resend once and wait again.
Work and university mailboxes. Some hold sign-in emails for scanning or block them outright. A personal address is the quickest fix.

Use the newest code

Each resend replaces the code before it. If two arrive close together, the later one is the one that works; an older one is refused, which looks like a wrong code when it is only a stale one.

If it still does not arrive

Tell the host. They can raise a support request from their account and our team can check whether your address is being refused by the mail system and clear it. You will not need to give anyone your inbox.

You do not need a code to add photos during the event: While the event is on, a guest who scans the printed QR code can add their photos with no sign-in at all — no email, no code, no account. They pick their photos, add their name if they want it shown, and they are done.

How long is a sign-in code valid?

A few minutes. If yours has expired, request a new one from the same screen.

Can the host see my code?

No. Codes go only to the address you typed. The host can ask our team to check delivery, nothing more.
