The wedding guest photo checklist
Six decisions, one print job, two sentences to say out loud, and one thing to test at the venue. That is the whole checklist.
Four weeks out
- Decide how you are collecting guest photos, and walk the whole path on your own phone.
- Decide how long the gallery needs to stay open. Interstate family means longer.
- Add one line to the invitation or the group chat telling guests what to expect.
One week out
- Print the QR flyer. Matte paper, one per table, plus two spares.
- Test reception at the venue, standing where the signs will go.
- Tell whoever is speaking to mention it once, in one sentence.
On the day
- Put the cards on the tables, not by the door.
- Ask one person who is not you to check a card is upright and unobstructed after the room is set.
Afterwards
- Approve the uploads. You review what guests upload and decide what appears before anyone else sees it.
- Send the link with the closing date in the same message.
- Download anything you want to keep before the gallery closes.
Photos appear after they have been uploaded and processed, not while the event is still running.
