How long should an event photo gallery stay open?
At least a week after the event, and longer if family had to travel. Most guests look for photos in the days following an event rather than on the night, and a gallery that closes too early produces exactly the support requests it was meant to avoid.
What the period should be measured from
This matters more than the number. A gallery period counted from the day you bought the package can be half gone before your event happens. RSVPix measures gallery access from the day of your event, which is the only version that makes sense to a guest.

The one-off event passes are a single payment. They do not auto-renew, and each covers one event, with galleries that close 12 months after that event. Prices are set in US dollars and in Australian dollars, not converted: an Australian host is shown and charged the A$ price, everyone else the US$ price, and the pricing page lets anyone switch between the two.
Choosing
- A small party where everyone lives locally — a week is usually enough.
- A wedding with interstate or overseas family — go longer. People look for these photos months later.
- A corporate event — long enough for the follow-up communications to go out, plus a buffer.
Tell guests the closing date when you send the link. It is the single cheapest thing you can do to avoid someone missing out.
