Doing nothing is free, takes no setup, and is what most events do. Your photographer still delivers the gallery you paid for, so nothing you were counting on is at risk.
Where the difference actually is
Do nothing and the photos your guests took stay on their phones. That is the whole cost — not a disaster, just a quiet loss of the half of the event nobody was paid to photograph.

What RSVPix will not do
- Photos appear after they have been uploaded and processed, not while the event is still running.
- Face matching is not perfect. It can miss a guest, and it can occasionally return someone else’s photo inside the right gallery.
- It cannot make your guests participate. Adding photos needs no sign-in during the event, but a personal gallery is not effort-free: Your guests scan the QR code, enter an email address and accept the terms, collect a four-digit code from their inbox, give a first name, last name and country, allow the camera, wait for the on-screen guide to load, and take one selfie.
If reading that list makes doing nothing sound like the better fit for your event, it probably is. We would rather you worked that out now.

Can I use both?
Yes, and plenty of events should. These approaches cover different halves of the same problem, and RSVPix costs nothing to run once alongside whatever you already planned.
What does RSVPix cost?
$0 to run one real event, then a one-off pass from $49 (A$79) sized by guest count. The one-off event passes are a single payment. They do not auto-renew, and each covers one event, with galleries that close 12 months after that event.
