RSVPix vs a cloud drive link
A shared drive folder holds full-resolution files, it is free at small sizes, and it is the standard way photographers hand over a finished gallery. Its real advantage is the handover itself: one folder, one link, download the lot in a click.
Where the difference actually is
For guests it is a folder of three thousand files with no way to find yourself. Uploading into it usually needs an account, and a link that gets forwarded works for whoever receives it. RSVPix covers most of the same delivery job and adds the per-guest galleries a folder cannot produce — but it cannot yet hand you a single download of everything, which is the one thing a drive is unbeatable at.

What RSVPix will not do
- Photos appear after they have been uploaded and processed, not while the event is still running.
- Face matching is not perfect. It can miss a guest, and it can occasionally return someone else’s photo inside the right gallery.
- It cannot make your guests participate. Adding photos needs no sign-in during the event, but a personal gallery is not effort-free: Your guests scan the QR code, enter an email address and accept the terms, collect a four-digit code from their inbox, give a first name, last name and country, allow the camera, wait for the on-screen guide to load, and take one selfie.

Can I use both?
Yes, and plenty of events should. These approaches cover different halves of the same problem, and RSVPix costs nothing to run once alongside whatever you already planned.
What does RSVPix cost?
$0 to run one real event, then a one-off pass from $49 (A$79) sized by guest count. The one-off event passes are a single payment. They do not auto-renew, and each covers one event, with galleries that close 12 months after that event.
